Formerly Le Refuge du Golf, the 3* Superior les Portes du Grand Massif is located in the Hameau de Flaine area which is linked to the main centre by the regular resort shuttle buses (free daytime shuttle bus from the residence every 30 minutes from 08.30 – 18.30 so not available late evenings). It is possible to ski from the residence down an easy pathway, to the Gerat chairlift and then down a blue run to Flaine Foret, however, to return guests must use the free resort shuttle buses. Guests also benefit from an indoor swimming pool and fitness room which is free for residents, as well as a spa centre with jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and treatments payable locally.

Les Portes du Grand Massif is composed of luxury south-facing apartments and chalets which are beautifully built using traditional wood, most of which are south facing with fabulous mountain views. The reception area has a bar and restaurant and it is possible to book evening meals and/or breakfast packages in advance, please ask Snow Options for prices. A ski hire shop is located at the Les Portes du Grand Massif ski apartment complex; equipment can be pre-booked with Snow Options.

The luxury 1 to 5 bedroom apartments and chalets here are fitted and furnished to a very high standard of comfort and convenience. The interior decor and design is modern and stylish, with the use of neutral colours and light wood throughout. They are spacious and all have a fully equipped kitchenette with ceramic hob, cooker hood, oven, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave & dishwasher, LCD TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. All apartments have a balcony or terrace with chairs. Given the quality the prices here are extremely competitive and with the on site spa facilities…hard to beat.

The 4 and 5 bedroom chalets can also be offered with your own chef if preferred on a chalet board basis, or we can offer a meal delivery service for any apartment/chalet where your 3 course evening meals are pre cooked by a chef and brought round for you to your chalet/apartment to re heat and eat. Thus you have a number of catering options as well as being offered on a totally self catered basis, perhaps then with the fresh bread and croissants morning delivery service.
